About The Artist
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and moved to Memphis in 1977. I am a graduate from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Engineering. My husband Dwight and I have two grown children.
I started painting in 1999 just as my children were going to college. I first took some courses through the University of Memphis Continuing Education with Kay Spruil. Later Sandy Sander instructed me. Since then I have taken workshops with Danny Broadway, and Anne Enoch.
I have participated in art shows in Oxford, Mississippi, Fairhope, Alabama, Meridian, Mississippi, Nashville, Tennessee and Memphis, Tennessee
My work is shown in Memphis at Antiques Within and Abbey’s Too.
